    The Hangzhou Applied Acoustics Institute Research Institute(HAARI) and Zhejiang University are pleased to invite you to Hangzhou, China, for the 4th Pacific Rim Underwater Acoustics Conference.
The meeting will be held 9-11 October 2013 at Jinxi hotel. The garden-like Jinxi hotel is located on scene area, from where you can experience the beauty of the West Lake scenery.


    PRUAC 2013 will be held with the conference theme of “Underwater Acoustics and Ocean Dynamics”. Every conference attendee will have the opportunity to participate in productive discussions on this specific theme.

Sub topics are including:

  • Internal wave observation and prediction
  • Environmental uncertainty and coupling to sound propagation
  • Environmental noise and ocean dynamics
  • Dynamic modeling in acoustic field
  • Acoustic tomography and ocean parameters estimation
  • Time reversal and matched field processing
  • Underwater acoustic localization and communication
  • Measurement instrumentation and platform
  • Other related topics
   Abstract should be submitted as an attached file to e-mail:

  • Microsoft WORD is strongly     recommended. The collected abstracts are edited and printed as a hand-out at the conference.
